PREORDERS EXPLAINED

Most KOIKAY preorders follow a four-step process from preorder window to customer shipping! In the description of any preorder item, there is an estimated window given for the total time a preorder will take before they are shipped out to you. Any delays or updates will be relayed via email and on our Instagram account!

1. PREORDER WINDOW

The process begins with the preorder window, during which orders for the item can be placed. In most cases, the preorder window either ends on a certain date or once a threshold is reached! Once a preorder is closed, you wont be able to place an order until after the 3rd step in the process.

2. PRODUCTION

Once the window closes, if it does, production begins. During this step, the products are being manufactured. How long this step last depends on the item. This step takes the longest and accounts for 80% of the preorder duration.

3. DISTRIBUTION PREP

During this step, the preorder products are being shipped to KOIKAY. Once they arrive, we take the time to sort and prep them to be sent to you! This includes quality control, packaging them in protective bags, adding KOIKAY goodies, and allocating extra stock to the site for those that missed the preorder window!

4. SHIPPING

This is when preorders are packed and shipped to you!
